Jonathan Morduch

Jonathan Morduch is an economist at New York University. He writes about the financial lives of low-income families and how they connect to poverty and inequality. He is Executive Director of the Financial Access Initiative at NYU, and a professor of public policy and economics at NYU’s Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. His most recent book, written with Rachel Schneider, is “The Financial Diaries: How American Families Cope in a World of Uncertainty.”
