John is an urban forester and business owner. He is also a consultant with the Forest Products Lab in Madison, WI. He has been involved in the Federal urban wood utilization study 2012. John was involved in developing software for the U.S. Forest Service for urban wood utilization and is a committee member for Wisconsin Urban Wood (WUW), a non-profit organization for advancing the utilization of the timber and logs being removed from the urban forest in Wisconsin.
