Jean Wright was a composite technician in NASA’s Space Shuttle program. She served on the elite “Sew Sisters” team, sewing flight hardware for the thermal protection systems that protect astronauts from deadly radiation and scorching Earth re-entry heat. Jean is a docent at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in Florida.
