Michael Muckian is the family journalist, but when it comes to writing about food he always does so in concert with Jean Muckian, who is the cook and creates and/or executes the recipes. Together, the two have reviewed restaurants in the Milwaukee and Madison areas for 30 years for The Business Journal Serving Greater Milwaukee, Madison Magazine and the Capital Times. Since then, they have migrated to a more general form of food articles for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Brava, and, currently, the Wisconsin Gazette.
