J. Adam Shelton is an award winning lyric tenor and has worked with Madison Opera Studio and the Des Moines Metro Opera. He is the winner of the Amelia Reiman Opera Competition, and three-time recipient of the Ratcliffe award at the Southern Arizona Opera Guild’s “Quest for the Best.” A native of Knoxville, Tennessee, he earned a doctorate in music from UW-Madison in 2014. He owns and operates the Shelton Private Voice Studio in Madison.
