Helen Klebesadel maintains an art studio in Madison and exhibits her artwork nationally and internationally. She is best known for her large-scale, richly detailed watercolors addressing environmental and women-centered subject matter. She is a past member of the Wisconsin Arts Board and a past president of the national Women’s Caucus for Art, and has served as director of the Wisconsin Regional Art Program and the UW System’s Women’s and Gender Studies Program.
