Genevieve McBride is a professor of history at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. She has edited an anthology called Women’s Wisconsin-From Native Matriarchies to the New Millennium. She wrote On Wisconsin Women: Working for Their Rights from Settlement to Suffrage.” And she is co-author of “Dear Mrs. Griggs: Women Readers Pour Out Their Hearts in the Heartland.”
