Gail Brechting is the president of the Association of Concert Bands, an International organization serving adult community bands. She is in her twenty-fifth year as the conductor of the award-winning West Michigan Concert WINDS. She is a member of the National Band Association, the College Band Directors Association, the World Association for Symphonic Bands and Ensembles and the Women Band Directors Association. She was a band director in Michigan at the K-12 and college level for 40 years.
