Erin Osmon is a music journalist based in Los Angeles. A native of Evansville, Indiana, and a longtime resident of Chicago, she is a monthly contributor to Uncut and an archival researcher and author of in-depth album notes. Her work has been published in Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, Billboard, No Depression, Chicago Reader and other national and international publications. Her book Jason Molina: Riding with the Ghost was named a best music book of 2017 by Pitchfork. She teaches in the graduate journalism program at the University of Southern California.
