Erin Giese is a principal investigator for Great Lakes Coastal Wetland Monitoring Program, overseeing a team of researchers studying birds and frogs in wetlands along Lake Michigan between Chicago and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Giese is also interim director of the Cofrin Center for Biodiversity at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.
