Lisa Hellmuth Margulis is Associate Professor and Director of the Music Cognition Lab at the University of Arkansas. She is the author of the book “On Repeat: How Music Plays the Mind,” and a recent piece at the Atlantic called, “Why Songs Get Stuck in Your Head.”
