Dr. Paul Spearman is director of the Division of Infectious Diseases at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, which operates a Vaccine Research Center that is conducting 11 clinical trials of COVID vaccines. Cincinnati Children’s has enrolled more than 1,500 participants in the various COVID vaccine clinical trials, including over 400 children. Dr. Spearman is principal investigator for a national study of the CyanVac intranasal COVID vaccine, which is administered by squirting a single dose into each nostril of volunteers. That trial is currently limited to adults.
