Dr. Lee Vogel

Dr. Lee Vogel is a family physician and geriatrician who practices and teaches in Appleton, Wisconsin at Mosaic Family Health, the clinical home of the Fox Valley Family Medicine Residency. Following graduation from the University of Minnesota Medical School, Dr. Vogel completed a Family Medicine residency and a two-year fellowship in Geriatrics at the University of California, San Diego, and then was on the faculty for two years at UCSD before joining the faculty in Appleton in 1990. She served as Residency Program Director of the Fox Valley residency program from 1995 until 2002, when she became Campus Director, and since 2015 she has been Executive Director of Mosaic Family Health. As an Associate Professor of the Medical College of Wisconsin, Dr. Vogel teaches medical students, residents and colleagues in her areas of expertise, including general geriatric care, medical ethics, dementia care, and end-of-life care. She is currently working with others in the Fox Cities area on community-wide collaboratives addressing two very important aspects of community health: improving advance care planning, and creating a “dementia-friendly” community. Dr. Vogel is a founding member of the Fox Valley Advance Care Planning Partnership. Dr. Vogel’s work has combined the care of individual patients with community health collaborations that create opportunities for people to flourish as they journey throughout their lives.
