My name is Dr. Jennifer Hoppe Vipond, and I am a Republican running to represent Wisconsin’s 5th Congressional District in the United States House of Representatives.
I am running for Congress because we need physician input to tackle healthcare policy, the opioid epidemic and gun violence. I do not owe any political favors to the NRA or pharmaceutical companies or unions or any other special interest group. I am free to use my intelligence, my common sense and my lifetime of experience in the fifth district to make policies that will benefit real people.
For more than twenty-five years I have had the privilege to serve the people of District 5 as a pediatrician. I have worked with thousands of families and been a part of their struggles and their successes. I was born and raised in this district. My husband Mark and I have raised six children here while I have maintained a full time medical practice.
