Debbie McKinney was an American Red Cross volunteer for over twenty years where she served as a Disaster Action Team member and team leader. She was the Disaster Chair in Washington County Wisconsin and a board member. She also volunteered for three weeks each after 9/11 in Washington D.C., Hurricane Katrina in Laurel, Mississippi, flooding in northern New Jersey, and Hurricane Sandy in New York. Her full-time thirty year profession began in the financial aid office at Marquette University and more recently as the Director of Financial Aid for fifteen years at Marian University in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Debbie has three daughters, ten grandchildren, and lives with her husband in Mauston, Wisconsin.
