Danielle Yancey, is the Director of the Native American Center for Health Professions at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine. She was raised on the Menominee Indian reservation in north-central Wisconsin and is a graduate of UW-Madison. Her studies include bachelor of arts degrees in social welfare and women’s studies, master of science in urban and regional planning, and a graduate certificate in sustainability leadership. Yancey has many years’ experience serving tribal communities in college readiness, intergovernmental affairs, and community and economic development.
