Dane Huckelbridge is the author of “Bourbon: A History of the American Spirit” and the cofounder of the international arts and culture magazine, Gutfire! His articles and essays have appeared in a number of magazines and journals including the New Republic and New Delta Review. His latest book is “The United States of Beer: A Freewheeling History of the All-American Drink.” Dane was born in the “American Middle West.”
