Carol DeSantis is a cancer epidemiologist and director of breast and gynecological cancer surveillance at the American Cancer Society. She is the lead author of the Breast Cancer Facts & Figures and Cancer Facts & Figures for African Americans publications and was recently quoted in a New York Times article titled “Researchers Predict a Quarter-Million New Cases of Breast Cancer in the U.S.”
