Carol Anderson is the Samuel Candler Dobbs Professor and Chair of the African American Studies department at Emory University. She’s the author of many books and articles including a 2014 Washington Post opinion piece, “Ferguson isn’t about black rage against cops. It’s white rage against progress.” Her latest book is “White Rage: The Unspoken Truth of Our Racial Divide.
