Bill Malone is author of many books on American Music and has earned a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Society of American Music. He lives in Madison Wisconsin and hosts a weekly radio program for WORT-FM called Back To The Country. Malone, is professor emeritus of history at Tulane University, is widely acknowledged as the nation’s foremost authority in Southern music.
