Anthony Pahnke is vice president of the Wisconsin-based, national advocacy organization Family Farm Defenders. He is an associate professor of international relations at San Francisco State University and author of “Agrarian Crisis in the United States: Pathways for Reform.” A Wisconsin native, Pahnke worked on the Fond du Lac area farm his family still owns.
