ANDREW DEYOUNG is an Emmy Award nominated writer & director who has garnered acclaim for his television and short form work. He most recently completed his feature directorial debut, FRIENDSHIP, which he also wrote, premiered at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival. He also directed the upcoming HBO pilot THE CHAIR COMPANY, starring Tim Robinson. Other notable directing credits include PEN15 (Hulu), OUR FLAG MEANS DEATH (MAX), THE DECAMERON (Netflix), SHRILL (Hulu), DAVE (FXX), THE OTHER TWO (Comedy Central), TEENAGE BOUNTY HUNTERS (Netflix) MAN SEEKING WOMAN (FXX), HIGH FIDELITY (Hulu), MIRACLE WORKERS (TBS), and BABY-SITTERS CLUB (Netflix). In the digital space, Andrew executive produced, co-created, and directed the Gotham Award nominated Vimeo series 555, starring Kate Berlant & John Early. His shorts have been VIMEO STAFF PICKS six times and have amassed significant press attention and a rabid online following. In 2024 Andrew was nominated for an Emmy award for the A24 sketch special, WOULD IT KILL YOU TO LAUGH starring Kate Berlant and John Early.
