Dr. Alex Gee is the lead pastor of Fountain of Life Covenant Church, a multiracial, multigenerational congregation in Madison. In 1992, he helped found the Nehemiah Center for Urban Leadership Development works to engage the greater Madison community to empower African American individuals, families, and communities to bring about hope, transformation, and justice. He is host of the podcast, “Black Like Me,” which invites listeners to see the world through the perspective of one Black man. He is the focus of the documentary, “Justified Journey,” which documents him tracing his family roots to rural Mississippi and the time of slavery.
