First, Ukwakhwa farm, run by an Oneida couple, focuses on traditional crops and promotes tribal food sovereignty. Then, we learn how bow and crossbow hunters are harvesting deer statewide.

    In 2017, Rebecca and Stephen Webster of the Oneida Nation started the Ukwakhwa farm (Our Foods) as a way of encouraging food sovereignty and preserving and connecting people to heirloom crops that Native Americans flourished on for centuries. We speak to the couple about the endeavor.
