UW-Madison Helps S-A Build Huge Telescope

Engineers at the University of Wisconsin-Madison are building parts for one of the the world’s largest telescopes in South Africa.Once it’s complete, astronomers in Wisconsin will be able to study galaxies in the southern sky from the comfort of their Madison offices.Gil Halsted explains.
