Update: As of 8 p.m., police have removed the suitcase and have issued an all-clear.

Several buildings have been evacuated on the Univeristy of LaCrosse Campus because of a suspicious package.

Campus police sent out an alert around 3:30 Tuesday afternoon announcing they’d blocked off part of campus after the package was discovered. The item appears to be a black suitcase sitting on a park bench outside one of the residence halls.
