Business owners and community leaders in the town of Gays Mills are hoping the Kickapoo river will behave better in 2008 than it did this year. The August flood that ravaged the town’s Main Street forced some shop keepers to close for good but others are looking for ways to prevent damage from future floods . Gil Halsted reports…
