Tomah Working To Keep Indian Mascot


Earlier this year, the Department of Public Instruction implored Wisconsin’s schools that have American Indian mascots and logos to drop them.The southwestern town of Tomah, which was named for a prominent chief, is trying to work out a compromise that will allow it to keep its team nickname.
