Despite a last minute attempt to stop it, the recount in the 9th senate district is underway. Democratic incumbent senator Jim Baumgart lost the election by 20 votes and asked for the recount. His challenger Republican senator-elect, representative Joe Liebham, tried to challenge the process. Frederica Freyberg has details.
