A new rehabilitation program called “Second Chances” began this year at the Thompson Correctional Center near Deerfield.It’s a venture between corrections officials and the Dane County Humane Society. Its mission is for inmate trainers to make abandoned or neglected dogs into friendlier, well-behaved animals. As Brian Bull reports, inmates say it’s helping them, too…
