Opponents of a new 8-mile long power line just north of Madison say the Public Service Commission’s approval of the Waunakee line ignores the Governor’s executive order to make energy conservation a top priority.
But commissioners ruled yesterday that residential growth in the area creates a power demand that only the new line can meet. Gil Halsted reports…
