Police shooting victims’ fathers want outside investigations

When a police officer kills someone in the line of duty there is always an investigation. But often it is the officer’s own supervisors who do the investigating. Two fathers whose sons were killed by police are urging the state to require an outside investigation every time a police officer fires a fatal shot. Gil Halsted reports.
