Phone Woes

The increased use of cell phones has boosted the number of complaints from customers angry over certain billing practices.Now, Wisconsin, like Illinois and some other states, is considering whether to impose new rules on cell phone providers.There haven’t been many regulations on wireless companies since 1996 because of changes to the federal telecommunications law.Industry officials say that’s a good thing for consumers, but a state lawmaker thinks consumers are getting ripped off.Shamane Mills reports…
