News from 72: Hopes ride on mining to restore vitality of Iron County


While the state’s unemployment rate may be improving, the number of people out of work in Iron County remains high. 10-percent of its residents are looking for jobs. Officials there hope renewed interest in iron mining will breathe life back into its aging community. Danielle Kaeding brings us this report from Iron County as part of WPR’s “News from 72″ series.
