Thousands of people converged in Madison’s Reindahl Park this weekend, for the Asian Summer Festival.The annual event typically draws in visitors and participants from all over the U.S. to honor the Hmong, Vietnamese, Cambodian, and Chinese cultures among others.And while promoters emphasize the festival’s traditional Asian songs and activities, the influence of 21st century-Americana is hard to miss.Brian Bull prepared this report:
