In 1987, Wisconsin voters made pari-mutuel betting in Wisconsin legal. Two years later, five dog tracks sprung up around Wisconsin with the promise of a new boon for entertainment and tourism.This week we learned the last of those five dog tracks, the Dairy-land Dog Track in Kenosha, will close its doors for good at the end of this year.
