The average farmer in Wisconsin is around 56 years old, according to national agriculture statistics. As Olivia Shalaby reports, UW-Extension has been helping farmers in Douglas County transition the family farm to the next generation.

Governor Scott Walker says his state budget proposal will include a plan to “dramatically help rural schools.” Laurel White reports.

The Natural Resources Board has voted to allow hunters to leave tree stands and blinds up overnight on D-N-R property, north of Wisconsin Highway 64.. Chuck Quirmbach reports.
