Week in Review: Four candidates are vying for the seat being vacated by outgoing interim Mayor Bruce Hagen in Superior, and they all agree that drug abuse is taxing northern Wisconsin. The candidates talked about options to treat addiction in a debate hosted by Wisconsin Public Radio on Monday evening. Danielle Kaeding reports.

Officials at rural schools say they’re happy Gov. Scott Walker is proposing more money for Wisconsin’s rural districts, but they say not all of it will make it to the classroom. Rich Kremer reports.

President Donald Trump ordered a freeze on hiring any new federal workers days after taking office. The Apostle Islands National Lakeshore is waiting for word on whether they can hire seasonal staff for the summer. Danielle Kaeding reports.

The 22nd annual Apostle Islands Sled Dog Race is being held this weekend. The race starts Saturday morning and ends Sunday afternoon. Olivia Shalaby has more.
