Jobs Program Cut

In a suprise move the legislative committee that holds the state’s purse strings dumped a jobs program of the governor’s.
The Joint Finance Committee met to give the welfare to work program more money to meet increased demand. It did that, but at the same time made the program cut.Frederica Freyberg reports…
