For the past several years, a church in Sparta has been offering English classes and other programs for Latino immigrants. Now, with the help of a three-year, $190,000 grant from the Jessie Ball DuPont Fund, St. John’s Episcopal Church as opened a Hispanic resource center that will eventually operate as a separate, non-profit entity.
