Foster Care Insurance


Young adults who’ve been raised in foster homes are lobbying the state for help in paying for their health insurance. Eventually it could cost the state two million dollars a year in medicaid funds. But advocates say the state has an obligation to help foster kids make the transition to adult hood. Gil Halsted reports…
