Environmentalists Call For Stricter Mercury Standards

There’s controversy across the nation over how much and how fast to reduce mercury levels. Supporting groups from 30 states called on the Bush Administration Tuesday to toughen proposed regulations on coal plant emissions. They did so in a letter to the head of the Environmental Protection Agency. Sporting groups also want Wisconsin officials to approve stricter mercury rules. Shamane Mills reports…
