Court says TB patients who refuse treatment can be jailed

The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled Tuesday (7/17) that it’s perfectly legal to put someone with infectious tuberculosis in jail to prevent the spread of the disease.But an ACLU attorney says the ruling makes it clear that health officials must first look for a less restrictive alternative.
