Born in Milwaukee and raised in southwest Wisconsin, Singer-Songwriter Simon Balto recently moved back to the state after living in Chicago.
He’s currently pursuing a Ph.D. in History with a focus on African-American studies while continuing to write and perform music.
He spent some time at WPR with Simply Folk’s Stephanie Elkins, sharing several songs and some conversation. His newest CD is “The Roads that Make Men Weary.”
