  • Kids Learn To Undervalue Women From Their Parents

There’s been a national conversation about sexual harassment and sexual assault over the last few weeks in the United States. It started in early October with the New York Times story detailing decades of allegations of sexual harassment against film mogul Harvey Weinstein. Since then, many women have come forward to share their stories of sexual harassment and assault with the hashtag #metoo. There are also several prominent men facing accusations now, including comedian Louis C.K., actor Kevin Spacey, and famous interviewer Charlie Rose. Our next guest says that while the conversation now is focused on misogyny in the workplace, that misogyny starts with the subtle gender dynamics in the home.

Is there a gender disparity when it comes to childcare in your home? How do you and your spouse divide up who does what? What kind of a system do you use when it comes to childcare? How do you talk to your spouse about how things should be divided up?
