Khris Middleton scored 20 of his playoff career high-tying 38 points in the fourth quarter, leading the Milwaukee Bucks to a 113-102 victory over the Atlanta Hawks for a 2-1 lead in the Eastern Conference finals.

Trae Young, the Atlanta Hawks’ playoff star, scored 35 points for the Hawks but was slowed in the final period after injuring his right ankle in a freak encounter with an official’s foot. Young was able to return to the court, but he didn’t have the sort of explosiveness that has made him the breakout leader of Atlanta’s stunning playoff run.

Young will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the full extent of the sprain. He intends to play in Game 4.
