Wisconsin’s consumer protection agency says identity theft is a growing problem in the state.Sandy Chalmers is the Division Administrator of Trade and Protection. She says last year was the first year that identity theft made its way onto the department’s list of top consumer complaints, with 225 identity theft complaints filed with the state.
