Now that the U.S. Supreme Court has upheld federal subsidies under the Affordable Care Act, Wisconsin’s Republican U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson said he doubts his own legal battle against Obamacare subsidies will continue.

Johnson said the Affordable Care Act won’t be repealed by Congress until the current Democratic president leaves office. After that, he said, it’s up to opponents of the health care reform law to change the system. Johnson also called on GOP presidential candidates to talk about it.

“Lay out the information for the American people in the 2016 election. It will be very incumbent on Republicans’ nominee for president to lay out his or her vision of what health care is going to look like in 2017 and beyond,” Johnson said.
