Stuffed Lamb Burgers

  • 1½ Pounds Ground lamb
  • 2 Large Garlic cloves
  • 1½ tsp Salt
  • ¼ Cup Crumbled feta cheese (or Goat cheese)
  • 1 Tbs Fresh mint, finely chopped
  • 1 Tbs Olive oil
  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees
  2. In a large bowl, combine the lamb meat, garlic and salt.
  3. Gently toss to blend.
  4. In a smaller bowl, combine the feta (or goat) cheese with the mint.
  5. Create 12 small balls of meat.
  6. Make a small hole into each ball and stuff with a teaspoon of the mint-cheese filling.
  7. Press into patty. Repeat with remaining lamb. (Can be made a day ahead if needed.)
  8. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  9. Cook lamb patties until browned on both sides. (About 3 minutes per side.)
  10. Transfer patties to baking sheet and keep warm in oven until ready to serve. Enjoy!
