- 2 Tbs Olive oil
- 1 Large Sweet onion, sliced
- 2 Packages Mushrooms*
- 1/3 Cup Dry vermouth (or dry white wine)
- 3 Cloves Garlic, pressed (optional)
- 4 Tilapia steaks
- Heat olive oil in large skillet.
- Add onions and mushrooms over medium high heat.
- Saute until onions are translucent and mushrooms are bronzed.
- Add vermouth and cook approximately 1 to 2 minutes until bubbly.
- Add the garlic now if you are using it.
- Place Tilapia steak on top of onion and mushroom mixture.
- Cover and reduce heat.
- Cook approximately 7-10 minutes or until fish is done.
- Serve with onion and mushroom mixture surrounding the fish.
